Swimming carnival

On Tuesday the 6th of February we had the school swimming carnival. The first event of the day was the 100m freestyle, Brady and I went in it; I came 4th. Everyone did their best to earn as many points as possible for the school. Liam got scared on his first race as this is his first swimming carnival but he still went in and did an amazing job. Joey was the only student to go into the medley and she came 2nd.

The last races of the day were the relays. This year we raced as a PP6 school. Joey went first and got off to a great start and got to the wall where Brady was waiting; he dived in and went brilliantly then it was Ella's turn. She got to the other side where I was waiting. I dived in and swam as hard as I could to get the other side to finish the race.

At the end of the day they did the presentation for the medals. Joey and Jemma both got champion medals however Jemma's medal is coming a little later.  Everyone had tried their best and had 'done great.'                                                     By Luke Putsey
