Additional Learning Support

At our school, we believe every child deserves the opportunity to learn, grow and feel included in all aspects of school life. We provide support for students with additional learning needs or disability, and this support can be put in place at any stage of schooling. A formal diagnosis is not required for a child to access support in a mainstream classroom.

Support for individual needs

Some students benefit from extra help to build confidence and achieve their best. We work closely with families to develop simple, practical support plans and adjustments that suit each child.

We identify students who may need support through teacher observations, assessment data, and conversations with families. All support is planned together with families and reviewed regularly.
